What it does
awesome-gamedev-agent-skills is a pack of 74 game dev skills in the open Agent Skills format, plus a router. You never name a skill: the router detects your engine from project files and reads your request, then loads only the matching engine, discipline and genre skills.
The catalog covers Godot (16 skills, pinned to Godot 4.7), Unity (8, Unity 6.3 LTS), Unreal (6, Unreal Engine 5.8), Phaser, PixiJS and three.js, Bevy, pygame, LÖVE and Roblox, plus 15 cross-engine disciplines such as save systems, game feel and procedural generation, 9 genre templates and 4 workflows including game jams, Steam and itch.io publishing.
The same SKILL.md files load in Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, Kiro and others. It is maintained by Abhishek Barali and every skill is checked by a validator script.
