What it does

Claude Code Game Studios is a project template you clone as your game's folder. It sets up 49 specialist agents in three tiers (directors, department leads and specialists such as gameplay programmer, level designer and QA tester), 74 slash-command skills like /brainstorm, /create-stories, /dev-story and /code-review, 12 hooks that validate commits and assets, 13 path-scoped coding rules and 39 document templates.

You begin with /start, which asks where your project stands and picks a workflow. A modes.rigor setting runs from minimal (the default, built for jam speed) through standard to full. The README says it is not an auto-pilot system: agents ask questions, present options and wait for your approval before writing.

The README also reports its own comparison: a game built at the standard rigor level wrote 30 documents before any game code and was ranked last by reviewers, so the project recommends staying on minimal unless you need the extra process.
