Install
./publish.sh --engine godot --agent claude --out ~/my-gameRun it in a terminal, then start a new agent session so the skill loads. Read the repo's README and scripts before you install: skills run with your agent's permissions.
What it does
godogen is a generator that produces game repos. You run its publish script with an engine (Godot with C# or GDScript, Bevy, Babylon.js or three.js) and a host agent (Claude Code or Codex), and it writes a thin game repo with a runtime manifest, a one-page engine guide and an asset-generation skill.
The agent then works inside that repo: it builds the game, generates assets, runs the engine and judges the result from the running game rather than a clean compile. You can watch a live URL for the browser engines and steer, or leave it unattended and get a 15 to 20 second proof recording at the end.
Asset generation is local and free by default through the companion godogen_assets project, which needs an NVIDIA GPU. Optional paid APIs fill gaps: Gemini images, TTS and Lyria music through Google AI Studio, xAI Grok images and sprite video, and Tripo for 3D.
