What it does
Unity Skills is the official skills collection from Unity Technologies. It has 34 skills that your agent picks up automatically when you ask for something in a Unity project, such as adding in-app purchases, fixing blurry or jittery pixel art, creating a hexagonal tile palette or installing a specific Editor version with the Android module.
The skills cover 2D pixel-perfect rendering, sprite atlases and the sprite editor, rule tiles, 2D and 3D physics, AI navigation, UGUI, UI Toolkit and IMGUI, URP post-processing and Built-in to URP migration, Shader Graph custom nodes, audio mixers, localization, TextMesh Pro, web optimization, multiplayer services, Vivox voice chat, LevelPlay ads and project creation and builds.
Many skills drive your open Unity Editor through the Unity CLI, which also installs Editors, creates projects and runs builds and tests. Unity says Claude Code and Codex users should install its official Unity plugin (unity-agent-plugin), which ships the same skills as one package. The repo is published automatically by Unity and does not accept pull requests.
