What it does
Unreal Engine Skills for AI Agents is a collection of 31 skills that help coding agents write correct Unreal Engine C++ code. The README says the target is Unreal Engine 5.8, that every API was checked against the 5.8 headers and source, and that each skill has a deprecated-API table mapping old forms to the 5.8 form so the agent stops writing outdated code.
A ue-project-context skill writes a project document with your modules, platforms and conventions, and every other skill reads it first. The rest cover core C++ (UCLASS, UPROPERTY, delegates, build files, threading), gameplay systems (GameMode, Gameplay Ability System, gameplay tags, character movement, Mover, animation, networking), rendering and effects (materials, Niagara, audio, Sequencer, cameras), world building (World Partition, PCG, physics, save games, data assets), AI (navigation, State Trees, Mass Entity), and UI, input, editor tools and testing.
It follows the open Agent Skills format and lists Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf. Skills can be installed all at once or one by one, and called directly with slash commands like /ue-gameplay-abilities.
