AI music and sound effects for video games

These tools generate soundtracks, loops and sound effects for your video game. The big difference between them is licensing: some allow commercial use on every plan, some only on paid plans, and one doesn't allow downloads at all. Check the commercial note before you put a track in your game.

How to choose

  • Check whether you can download the audio at all, and in which formats (MP3, WAV, stems, MIDI).
  • Check commercial use on the plan you'll use. Many free plans are non-commercial.
  • For sound effects, pick a tool that generates SFX from text, not just songs.
  • If you sell on Steam, AI audio that ships with your game must be disclosed in Steam's content survey.
